Estonian national road 1

National Road 1 (also known as Tallinna–Narva maantee; Tallinn-Narva highway) begins from the centre of Tallinn from Viru Väljak. After this the road runs through the city (Narva maantee, Tartu maantee, Peterburi tee) until the Pirita River, where it crosses the city limits. The Tallinn-Narva maantee runs along the northern coast of Estonia and is a part of the European route E20. The last 3,5 kilometres run along the streets of Narva – Tallinna maantee, Peetri plats, Peterburi maantee. The highway ends on Sõpruse bridge on the Estonian-Russian border. For 80,7 kilometres the road is a four-lane expressway. The road is 212,3 kilometres long.
